Oh dear -- top 4 ??

Its now looked pretty flat 3 on the trot and Ive once more got a feeling I wont need the can of Duraglit

To be serious --management --coach--et al ought to to take a long look in the mirror --and a long look at the match video

It was an insult to the fans allegiance ! and their wallets

Been to Catalan--Magic weekend (without much magic ) and Semi on the horizon but it appears that Coach (new job confirmed) and players (long contracts confirmed) are in seventh heaven and a clear comfort zone

I suspect " there are positives we can take from these results and we`ll work on putting em right next week " being quoted yet again any time soon !

No fire / no enthusiasm/ no will to kill the opposition off !

Oh -we`re in the lead now again --no probs!!
a bloody disgrace !! Mad

Well, your more positive than me about the result!

Perhaps I am over-reacting but seeing the same complacency (look at the run on team, we didn't respect Salford) and same mistakes on and off the park, the same May collapse (when did we last win a league game in May?), as I feel right now I would be happy to read in tomorrows Examiner that Nathan Brown was off to Saints with immediate effect.

I believe Nathan will never win anything, with us or Saints. He has done some great things for us and is very nearly a brilliant coach. Very nearly, but he lacks an edge, he is a nice man not a ruthless win at all costs type. To compensate he seems to try to be too clever.

Just my view, I will calm down and be at the game next week and the week after, but the last few weeks combined with previous Nathan Brown seasons give me no confidence. I see a 6th/7th place finish and early play off exit, sadly.

Cue the apologist's saying "just as well the player's don't think like you" - wrong I a successful in my profession and I manage a lot more people than a Super League squad.

Exactly, agree 100% with both Pennine and GiantDee. If we keep telling the players it's only 1 game and it will all come right they will start to think games like Hull KR away, Salford yesterday, Cas and Batley in cup last season are acceptable. That is far from acceptable and if this team is serious and I mean really serious about troubling the engraver and having something to show the grand kids as an Huddersfield player they need to become hungry, ruthless and not very nice. At the moment they are the nearly men.

Thing about these 'magic' weekends is that they tend to become just like exhibition games. All the teams conceded plenty of points this time, apart from Wire who were up against the hapless Widnes. It seems like the normal defensive resolve of most of the sides just fades away for a day,or maybe it was due to the boiling hot weather.

One thing was obvious though, that Salford's attack was much more structured than our own.Once again we seem to rely on players doing something good individually and then we get up in support.
