| Was it Luke George's wonderful hat-trick try or Danny Brough's astonishing conversion of it?
I think I'll stretch the moment and go for the try and conversion.
What were your moments?

| Once again I am going to have to wait for the highlights on the internet. I hope they include the conversion, usually they only show the tries.
Of curse I always wish I was at the game rather than 1000's of miles away, but I am really really sorry to have missed this one. From the BBC report it sounds to been a real cracker, and it's always good to beat the Saints, they are a real quality team.

| Brough break and pass to Grix an pass to George who raced down the wing for a cracking try and that conversion, I would bet my mortgage that if Brough had 100 shots at goal he would never ever pull that off again.
Great result and what was pleasing was that the Giants were the more entertaining team with ball in hand and Saints were the ones off the pace and trying to slow the game down. A well deserved win and a good 2 points in the bag!!!!

| As good as that try & conversion was, the moment of the match for me was another odd choice. In the first half Saints had 3 sets of 6 on our tryline which was brought to a halt by one of the best one on one tackles I've ever seen on a try line. Michael Shenton ran on to the ball at pace & all he had to do was basically put the ball down but Luke George just shot straight forward & absolutely smashed Shenton. Wrapped him up ball & all & also grounded him in a way so that Saints had a slow ptb. Talk about an absolute try saver.
If Saints had scored then it would've been 16-4 going in to half time with the kick to come. Totally different game then.

| Well the last George try was a belter but i've had to wait 39 years to see a conversion like that so it's the goal kick for me. | |

| Got to go with the conversion, never seen that before in all my years.I have seen the ball bounce off the crossbar, hit one post then the crossbar, hit one post then the other, but never both posts and then the crossbar. It was a proper triple crown bounce was that.
Plus the real bonus was that the ball went over for the vital 2 points.
Agree with what Sparky said about the defence by George though.

| Daftest moment of the match goes to Mr Bentham for ruling that Wardle (spark out on the floor after being hit full in the face by the ball) had played at the ball and gave saints another set | |
