| O'Donnell, Faiumu & Fa'alogo are all injured and Lawrence on catch up, I think George will start. There will also probably be young uns who impress in pre-season and trials. I will no doubt be wrong but expect something like:
Grix Jerry Leroy wardle George Brown Brough Mason Lunt Walker Gillie Chan Fairbank
Eorl Robbo Larne Lee/Lawrence
Although just as likely Eorl & Robbo start with Lunt at loose and Walker on bench, leaves the bench inexperienced imo. We will see

| It is a strong team, given all fit I do think Gillie will be in the pack and George & Jerry on the wings. I personally prefer Lawrence to Wardle at centre due to his exceptional defence, but both are talented with bags of potential. All of which may be overlooking Aaron Murphy, never stood out at Wakey for me, but neither did Grix or Fergie.
All of which shows we actually have a pretty decent squad and almost every fan will come up with different "best teams", that is a good place to be. Only lack of proven numbers at Prop is a concern to me but by all acounts NB is pretty relaxed about that.

| I agree we have strength in depth everywhere except prop unless one or two of the younger lads or Tonks steps up to the plate. It will be vital that we adapt to not having a forward line that is much bigger than the opposition. We have been used to having large forwards on the field and on the bench ready to come on and batter and wear down the opposition. When Bradford lost this they lost their way, fingers crossed we have a plan that will work. | |

| http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_league/16426128.stmAbove link says Larne out with a broken wrist, LOD ( knee) out and Fa'alogo (back) out. Tonks is suspended for 2 games so Adam Walker may be in. The piece is headed as shortage of props. Why the hell don't they give Jacob Fairbanks a chance for goodness sake? | |

Just had a look at the Wigan squad for this year, yes they have lost Hoffman from the forwards, but they have recruited Lauaki,Dudson & Flower to back up Lima,Hansen,Mossop & Prescott, but no worries our own pack are going to be more mobile LOL.

Run at spaces not at faces,as someone once said.T'only trouble on t'other side ot' coin they are going to run into our faces and not into the space at either side. Gonna be an interesting season,do you think NB has given the game away by going on about a mobile pack,or is it a double bluff?

Gonna be an interesting season,do you think NB has given the game away by going on about a mobile pack,or is it a double bluff? I think there is an element of a double bluff to this. Only really Griffin of the main props has gone. Raleigh had already been made a bit part player last season (whether that was right or not is another story). IF Fa'alogo can stay fit for the season and Chan does the business then we still have plenty of big players in the forwards. However in the current faster super league with less subs, big forwards will not only fatigue more quickly during the game, but also over a season and lets be honest we had an element of that last season, so maybe a move in tactics is no bad thing. Anyway time will tell. Silverware will be the proof. Fingers crossed.
