Hmmm, better than last years I suppose, however I just cannot see anyway myself, my mrs or the lad will be getting one. The thing I don't understand is non-trad shirts are supposed to appeal to the younger generation of fans, neither my son (aged 19) or any of his mates got last years home shirt, he did get the away one as did a couple of his mates.

There is one thing will make them fly off the shelves - Wembley!!!

I like it...its not that terrible, the colours are right and not blue (which was the worst shirt ever for me)...I am obviously in the minority but I have always liked to be different lol

checked this out in the shops this morning ... seems better quality it is a nice simple design but i am not a fan of all hte iron on sponsor logos that peel off after a couple of washes which then make the shirts look tacky. I have a couple of wests tigers nrl jerseys and all the logos are actually printed on the shirt is it not possible to go down that route if were paying over 40 quid for a shirt? i shall wait the away shirt and then decide!

Every one likes what they like, and the one's that like it will no doubt buy it, For me it is a complete nothing shirt, There is absolutely nothing about it that says Fartown to me, I wouldn't buy one if they were a fiver, I'll stick with my Claret and Gold hoops which is still instantly recognisable.

To help with (hopefully) eventual orders --could those who have PM`d me let me have chest measurement ( and for conversion sake) the size they usually get from the club

I say "usually" because Ive had an XL and an XXL previously which were virtually same size

were getting some large / extra large / and xxl prototypes made and we want to make sure if theyre over or under sized

cheers!
PG Smile

will take a piccie and let you have a look (and a feel if you want Wink )before you commit!!

If you think the home shirt is bad then wait for the away shirt tomorrow. Its the worst shirt I've ever seen by a super league team.

Oh no...really? I don't like the home shirt at all & the away one is worse?

Thank goodness PennineGiant has had those retro shirts done!

If you like grey, black, red, green and white then you'll be happy from the picture I saw. It resembles a French rugby union pub team shirt. I'd be surprised if the shirt sells into 3 figures.

Its a bit funny really, I did not like the Home shirt on the pics or in the shop, but across at Cas last week it looked fine, not my favourite from recent years but perfectly acceptable if a little bland, frankly I would prefer C&G hoops but the home one is ok.

Having just seen pics of the away one, it looks ridiculous, but in a funny way I really don't have a problem with it. It is the alternative strip not the trademark and it is a genuine alternative, from a marketing perspective to the bland home strip. Would I wear it - nah I'm too old I would look stupid, but I really can see the sense in an understated home strip and a very different alternative.

And of course there is always PG's Retro strips!

Don't really like the modern trend of text speak, but after seeing the new away/alternative shirt, for me this sums it up
WTF

Well its got lots of people talking about it. There ends the positives. I can't imagine sales will rocket and when the players run out in that thing they will feel worse than a Cas lad wearing a Fax shirt.

Thing is though it's getting attention from far and wide, slawit sarecens got publicity over their flowers. Stade francais sold out theirs around the world! Is this what the marketing team are after??

I've seen it in the flesh and even though I was thinking hmm I do like it when I'd seen the pics I see it and now think eurgh!!! It will probably take me seeing others wearing it before I like it though!!

I saw it in the club shop today....it's worse in real life than in the pic!

Spent my money on one of those new bodywarmers instead...they're great!

If it sells like Stade Francais then fair enough. Yes it is getting us noticed, was it Benetton who used to say all publicity is good publicity? Our fame will be short lived, so unless they have other ideas to maintain the interest in the club other than a ridiculous away shirt, it will fade very quickly.

Was not a big fan when i saw the pics online .. really impressed when saw it and 3 of us in my family have got it. It is an alternative shirt meant to be different you will either love it or hate it. The one thing that has improved is the sponor.badge no more of the tacky iron on prints that peel off and make the shirt look cheap. Everything is printed or embroidered.
